The problem of cramped living conditions in urban HKG has been highlighted in numerous publications. One solution is to provide design suggestions to better organize and improve the utility of the space at hand. YCWH approached NGO’s such as CARITAS to identify families with young children. We then arranged for a government design school, THEi, to provide interior redesigns for the NGO to select in consultation with the target families. 2 phases of the Project work by THEi has been delivered to the 9 beneficiary families in December 2017 and 2019. All parties are happy with the result.
